I really, really wanted this word to be the title of a profession, as in, a person who collects lint for the purposes of making paper, or felt, or artisanal fire-starter. A lost opportunity. — This unsigned comment was added by Bmcraec (talkcontribs).

Thank you; apologies for the tardy response. The possible ways this could work is as an relative comparator (ie, this dryer trap is lintier than the previous load), or as a descriptive noun for a person who benefits from collecting lint, in opposition to the person who gives up lint, in the same way that rentier and renter are oppositional actors dealing with rent.
