French translation?
[edit]I can't find a French translation for lightheaded. Some books/dictionaries suggest "crise de vertige", but a "vertige" is when the world spins, and that's not a defining characteristic of lightheadedness.
Just now, I've seen an article about two British Airways pilots that felt "lightheaded" (according to English-speaking newspapers) and had to land abruptly, and I've a French-speaking newspaper that says they:
- les deux pilotes étant victimes d'un étourdissement
- se sentant tout d'un coup étourdis
Other sources suggest "malaise", but that seems to cover a much broader set of feelings.
Anyone else got thoughts on this? Gronky 20:52, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
