Just a note: Compounds of "hê" (like "liefhê", "aanhê") are the verbs with the greatest number forms in Afrikaans. There's hê lief (imperative), liefhet (sub-clause present), het lief (main-clause present), liefhad (sub-clause preterite), had lief (main-clause preterite), liefhebbende (present participle), liefgehad (past participle), lief te hê (compound infinitive), and of course liefhê (simple infinitive).
