I do not doubt some creative soul makes this up sometimes, and anyone who speaks English will understand it (and perhaps chuckle), but is this "clearly widespread"? 75.172.241.119 22:26, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
- For better or worse, we only require three uses in durably archived works to include such expressions as are not "sum of parts". As a naive decomposition is into lesser and evilism, we cannot say this is SoP. That it is a trivial exploitation (in the sense of Hanks?) of lesser evil seems to make no difference to its inclusion or exclusion. DCDuring TALK 22:56, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
I've added three quotations. —Mr. Granger (talk • contribs) 01:23, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- RFV passed: quotations are in the entry. Furthermore, google books:"lesser evilism" gives loads of attesting quotations, some of them spelled as lesser-evilism. --Dan Polansky (talk) 12:06, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
