Can we find citations that show that this is in use and either an idiom or not? DCDuring TALK 16:59, 6 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

There are piles and piles of groups cites out there too (some of which are quite humorous) but I think it is probably a reasonable keep. - [The]DaveRoss 16:57, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
Cited IMHO — I've just added all five b.g.c. hits, of which four seem to be valid uses — but I would not oppose deletion. I see no evidence that this is a set phrase, much less an idiom. Move to RFD? —RuakhTALK 23:02, 26 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

lemming logic

[edit]

This is too rare, and the occurrences of it too far-flung, for me to believe that it's a real idiom. Rather, it's a straightforward use of the figurative sense of lemming. B.G.C. also turns up a use of "lemming argument", at least a dozen uses of "lemming approach", and so on. —RuakhTALK 20:07, 21 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

BTW, this is also synonymous or nearly so with "sheep logic", "herd logic", "crowd logic", and "mob logic". DCDuring TALK 23:09, 21 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
