I recall another shortening of see you later, which is "s'later", pronounced "slater". A friend of mine spent time working in Aberdeen, Scotland and I'm sure he used it. I also think it's used in the novels of Irvine Welsh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irvine_Welsh. I will try to confirm both these things...
