References to 'lancier'
[edit]In this entry, there are references to 'lancier' as an etymon of both English 'lancer' and French 'lancer.' However, the English entry labels 'lancier' as French, while the French entry labels 'lancier' as Old French. Is one of these two distinctions more correct (and by extension, should one be reassigned), or does 'lancier' fit equally well into both French and Old French?
