- But shouldn't it be just an obsolete alternative form since in the same dictionary, they're the same thing and borrowed at the same time. Unlike hinuha hinguha where they have separate meanings in the same dictionary. Ysrael214 (talk) 05:50, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- @Ysrael214: For me, it's like Sisus and Hesus, or maybe like sakto and eksakto (though maybe that example has slightly different definitions for each). For me, cuz one entire syllable disappeared, to me seems like a different lemma, not like a variant pronunciation where a phoneme slightly changed. Can't think of other examples though. - @Mar vin kaiser But Sisus and Hesus were borrowed on different points of a linguistic timeline like guarantee and warranty, kumpil and kumpilma were borrowed both at Early Modern Spanish (and even in the same dictionary).
