@Eirikr A korty is the amount of drink that can be swallowed at one time, it can be smaller or bigger, an adjective might indicate the amount:
Nagy kortyokban itta a vizet. - He drank the water in large gulps.
Kis kortyokban itták a bort. - They drank the wine in small sips.
