I'm rfving the senses of kitsune where it just means fox. I have no doubt it means that in Japanese, but would be surprised to find that it was used that way in English. Likewise the more specific sense of Vulpes vulpes japonica. Asian Ethnology is arguably a cite for the latter, but otherwise google books:Vulpes vulpes japonica kitsune turned up romanized Japanese and Wikipedia rip-offs.--Prosfilaes (talk) 03:56, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
