Dutch pronunciation

@Lingo Bingo Dingo In my experience people pronounce it more or less as /ˈkɑu̯.loː/; if it's indeed properly pronounced w/ three syllables as it's listed now on the entry I personally can't be sure if the stress would be on the first or second syllable (first feels more likely to me, fwiw). Never heard it used partitively or predicatively. Maybe it also needs to be listed as an adverb tho - I've heard it used to intensify adjectives, e.g. a good song can be described as "kaolo hard", similarly something very bad can be "kaolo kut" and "kaolo slecht" and so forth. All of this again is based on how I've heard it used tho, you probably won't find much in the way of cites for this one. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 13:03, 14 August 2018 (UTC)

@Mnemosientje Hmm, it seems like the adjective is citable from rap lyrics: "je hele kaolo set" (Faberyayo, "De Setdresser"), "die kaolo systeem" (Big2 ft. Lijpe, "Kaolo Systeem"), "heel die kaolo kitchen" (Latifah - "I'm on"), "die kaolo money" (used by several artists), and then some. @Lingo Bingo Dingo Yes, perhaps including an adverb sense would be superfluous anyway since adjectives tend to be usable as adverbs as well in Dutch anyway. Good call on the rap lyrics, being preoccupied with ancient languages as I am I tend to forget those sorts of sources are usable too for modern languages. — Mnemosientje (t · c) 13:22, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
