"arbol de jiote" is also Bursera simaruba, the gumbo-limbo tree, according to a sign I saw today at the Copán ruins in Honduras. This sense doesn't seem to be in the RAE. — Hippietrail 20:28, 5 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
