surely this must be seen as a participle, meaning that there is a verb. i can find no reference here to such. the meaning would be: to make cynical, insensitive, world-weary etc. i'm quite new on this site: is there something i don't understand about its workings?Toyokuni3 15:13, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

pronunciation?

according both to the file submitted, and to my common sense, jaded should be pronounced as /ˈdʒeɪdəd/, not /ˈdʒeɪdɛd/. mistake?

I say /ˈdʒeɪdɛd/, and /ˈdʒeɪdɛd/ is what I hear. I’ve never heard anyone say /ˈdʒeɪdəd/. —Stephen ^(Talk) 12:41, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
