I don't speak Italian so I can't judge, but French tremper le biscuit is lexicalised. PUC – 15:54, 13 July 2024 (UTC)

Keep, I am (unfortunately) not a native speaker of Italian, but the sense that these words make together is unexpected, so as a learner I find this useful.
