The process of individuating or individualizing.
[edit]In contrast to individualization, individuation implies a process that does not lead to a final and complete state of development. Instead, individuation suggests a process (transduction) in which the individuated being is always in a state of becoming though it may well function in a semi-durable or metastable form; transduction is the term Simondon uses to refer to the process of individuation.
