What is the plural form? in their own right(s) ? --Backinstadiums (talk) 10:47, 12 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Since it is a prepositional phrase rather than a noun, I think it does not have a plural per se. Based solely on my observation of other entries for similar phrases (eg rest one's case, try one's luck), my understanding is this entry is meant to cover all possible pronouns that could replace one's (eg in his own right, in her own right, in its own right). I suppose in their own rights is different in that right is pluralized, but I doubt that justifies a separate entry for it. - excarnateSojourner (talk|contrib) 17:44, 12 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
