Legal limit?

I seem to remember a salesman telling me there was a legal restriction in the United States that required pure vanilla extract have a certain percentage of alcohol, anything lower had to be called imitation. I'll have try to verify this. JillianE 19:45, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
