Not a prefix; cf. (deprecated template usage) well-. ※ Raifʻhār Doremítzwr 〰 ⓤ · ⓣ · ⓒ 〰 01:57, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- Delete. Not a prefix but an adverb. The hyphen is purely grammatical, as in "a badly-made chair". Equinox ◑ 18:10, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

- I see. I was not aware it had been previously reviewed. Also, I thought that the sense of 'bad' as in "ill-will", etc. might qualify it as a combining form/proto-prefix (if there is such a thing) since it is somewhat opaque and it seems likely that it could eventually evolve that way. - It also assists when one is attempting to categorise and view all words containing ill-. I think that was my primary impetus in creating the entry, if I recall correctly. Leasnam 13:58, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Is this all right? --Duncan 12:11, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, except for not being a prefix. And there are not very many adjectives, nouns, or adverbs that don't appear with hyphens before and/or after. We could soon break 2MM entries by including similar terms. See head and -head for an interesting case of not including a combining form. DCDuring TALK 14:05, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
