Notes

[edit]

@Arsenetlefebvre Hey, just some reminders.

  1. English always needs to be on top, and other languages below it arranged in alphabetical order.
  2. Also there are language dividers, we have to put them between language entries.
  3. Also, in Tagalog entries, we don't put root word as verbs anymore.

I have some questions on this word, since I can't find it in any dictionary, so it must be local to Quezon province. Please correct me if I'm wrong. My questions though are: 1. Is it ultimate syllable stress like gusot (wrinkle), or is it penultimate syllable stress like kumot (blanket)? 2. What derived terms would you use with "hupot"? Maghupot? Humupot? Huputan?, Mahuputan?

@Mar vin kaiser I believe hupot sounds more like gusot. Derived terms are Humupot, Huputan, Nahupot, Nahuputan, Hinupot.. Arsenetlefebvre (talk) 14:38, 26 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
