Pronunciation

Can someone please add the Received Pronunciation to the word, since I would like to know how it should be pronounced? The uſer hight Bogorm converſation 13:17, 26 February 2010 (UTC)

Well, there's a sourced American pron now and an unsourced and hence untrustworthy British one next to it. This word is old enough, however, that as long as you aren't at Oxford or Cambridge, no one will really notice if you mispronounce it. They'll just notice they don't understand what you're talking about and, if they want to keep talking to you, will need a translation into English. If you're going this route in conversation anyway, just go whole hog with horologium in a classical Latin dialect. — LlywelynII 07:02, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
