ornament on the hood? -- Liliana • 14:13, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Probably. In the UK they are called (deprecated template usage) mascots. SemperBlotto 14:20, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep. It's the name for a specific part of a car, like a license plate or a steering wheel. A decal or bumper sticker on the hood of your car would not be a "hood ornament". A decoration on the hood of your sweatshirt would not be a "hood ornament" . . . unless it actually is a hood ornament, but that sounds pretty uncomfortable. :-P —RuakhTALK 14:42, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Among lemmings, only WordNet and its followers have it. But I agree with Ruakh. Keep. DCDuring TALK 19:17, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep per Ruakh. bd2412 T 20:07, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- What Ruakh said (about bumper stickers). Keep.—msh210℠ (talk) 19:37, 27 October 2011 (UTC)
- Keep. If I glue a teddy bear to my hood it is an (ugly) ornament on the hood but not a hood ornament. Haplology 15:15, 28 October 2011 (UTC)
