I think it means where a species originated more often than an individual Dubiousity (talk) 17:43, 16 March 2024 (UTC)

I changed the definition to allow for both. One could also make an argument for a civilization or some kind of organization, like an interstellar government, or a religion, etc. Basically anything that could have come from or could have some kind of special focus on a specific planet.
