mention

[edit]

I removed this from the entry as it is IMO only a mention in a secondary source (another dictionary), precisely the sort of thing we exclude:

    • 1945: Joseph T. Shipley [compil.], Dictionary of World Literature — Criticism, Forms, Technique, page 303
homophone. A word like another in sound; cp. homœophony; homonym.
