Hohol is used throughout Central-Estern Europe as an ethnic slur to describe the ukranian people, esp. in the context of greed and affinity to engage in shady dealings. E.g. "Russians say when the hohol was born the jew started weeping." The prevalence of such use is now increasing due to the large amount of russian propaganda and fake news being pushed online and aimed at distorting the view of the Crimean / Donetsk region military invasion. 195.184.22.129 19:05, 9 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
