Rfv-sense" (obsolete) (common hogweed) (Heracleum sphondylium), of western Eurasia and north Africa.
I have not found this sense in the 19th century. I have found hogwort and Heracleum sphondylium occurring near each other in botany book listing and indices because hogwort is the vernacular name for Heptallon graveolens, syn. of Croton capitatus ("hogwort").
