The word is also used in petrol chemistry, the heartcut distillation splits the heaviest stream after a steamcracker into the lighter heartcut (aromatics) and a heavier fraction that is rerouted to the refinery. --129.13.72.198 09:21, 27 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
