"To reflect on a frustrating or disappointing event; to reframe such an event." I think really it's just SoP, like "have a think", meaning to spend time thinking. The current (Mark Twain) citation could easily be that SoP too. Equinox ◑ 11:15, 19 June 2019 (UTC)
- In the US, think#Noun is sufficiently alien that have another think coming is very frequently have another thing coming, even in sentences which use think (verb) or thought earlier, eg, "If you think you are going out to play the minute you get home, you've got another thing coming young man." - This use of "another thing coming" for "another think coming" is also quite common in the UK. I've always considered it a mishearing/misunderstanding. I never knew that think#Noun was "chiefly British" though. Mihia (talk) 17:53, 21 June 2019 (UTC)
