google books:"(a|the) hathel" turns up only the same Middle English text over and over. google books:"hathels" likewise turns up mostly Middle English. It's possible, though, that there are enough modern editions ("translations") of different works that this could pass à la Talk:undeadliness. - -sche (discuss) 22:36, 5 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
