If the Dutch and German cognates of haai, Hai etc. are derived from Icelandic or Old Norse, why do the Swedish and Danish cognates not derive from the Scandinavian sources, but instead from the Dutch word for shark? 77.175.64.145 09:25, 14 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
