Latin: habitasne
[edit]DuoLingo seems to be using habitasne (or habitāsne?) as a synonym of habitās + in — second-person present indicative, probably singular (but could be plural). I can't find it among the conjugations, nor in a separate entry. —DIV (2001:8004:44E0:AF20:CDAB:8BA5:2E6A:3A40 13:44, 10 September 2024 (UTC))
- OK, it seems to be actually habitās + -ne. Does it merit a separate entry?

- The logical conclusion of this would be to add variants with -ne of every single word (and every inflection thereof) to which that ending can be attached. Which would singlehandedly (almost) double our Latin entry count. So no, probably best not to. Nicodene (talk) 14:48, 10 September 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. It seems like a bigger topic, so I've shifted it to the Beer Parlour.
- I won't surprised if the consensus matches with your advice. Nevertheless, I think it's helpful for editors to get a perspective from less-expert users.
