tó báʼátʼéhígíí

[edit]

Should tó báʼátʼéhígíí be added as a synonym? 71.66.97.228 03:29, 20 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, I don’t think it is well accepted. —Stephen 05:04, 20 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, I think I must have gotten it from the Periodic Table at nv:WP in the first place. By the way, they only had about 10 or 15 elements in there earlier; are there sources that could allow for the adding of more of them? 71.66.97.228 03:03, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

No, I don’t think there are any printed sources for that. nv:WP is adding them as they find time. I think most of the chemical elements, as scientific terms, will be taken into Navajo phonetically in modern usage, but Navajo phonology, as you can see from háájiʼjin, can be complex. —Stephen 03:54, 21 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
