I get 13,000 hits for gingerism on google, 22 for gingerism at news.google.co.uk. This is the most recent, [1] saying ""People of all nationalities and hair colours reacted to the event, described as an example of "gingerism" -- the discrimination against redheads, or "gingers." ""

I have added the above to refs. to the page plus another two, including one from CBS and a second from the BBC. The most recent is the Canada.com one from this year. Martin451 (talk) 21:09, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Cited with properly formatted, apparently qualifying quotations. My ginger-loving friend in San Mateo is bewildered by negative attitudes toward redheads of any color or stripe.
