Inanimate vs animate.

@Stephen_G._Brown The Ojibwe People's Dictionary lists giizhig as animate , and with no plural. I am wondering what the source of the inanimate label is. I have seen the plural used in Margaret Noodin's poetry, but am hesitant to derive an animacy from the plural. SteveGat (talk) 17:49, 29 May 2020 (UTC)
