Non Public rail service

[edit]

I've heard some people use the expression 'ghost train' in connection with non public train services, run for railway staff or engineering purposes.

Are forums considered a reliable source here? Sfan00 IMG 23:02, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Joke?

[edit]
  1. (UK) A supernatural manifestation of a railway locomotive or passenger cars.

Looks like a deliberate hoax to me. A train that's literally a ghost. Mglovesfun (talk) 18:15, 25 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
