If anyone wants to add a cite, I tracked down the source cited by John Clark Hall's Concise Anglo-Saxon Dictionary (here):
- MS Cotton Cleopatra A III, in Thomas Wright & Richard Paul Wülcker, ed.s, Anglo-Saxon and Old English Vocabularies, 2nd ed., v. 1, London, 1884, p.375, line 18 (title page, information on the manuscipt, and the page with the actual quote):
- Crocata, Þa giolureadan
I'm sure Hall normalized the spelling and extrapolated the form for the lemma based on geolu and read in various manuscripts. It was easier for me to track it down than to figure out how to format it properly, so I'm leaving it here. Chuck Entz (talk) 00:43, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
