To add to entry
[edit]To add to this entry: a meaningful etymology section that explains the origin of this term (based on a 1944 film), and also lists the earliest examples of this term's usage. 173.88.246.138 05:02, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
- It's on gaslight#Verb. I'm not sure it's worth duplicating the info on non-lemma forms. 70.175.192.217 05:04, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
Missing a key sense
[edit]This word entry is missing the key sense as I hear the word used today in vernacular English in the USA. That use is represented reasonably well [1]here, in the English Wikipedia. But seems to be totally missing from the Wiktionary word entry. Cheers. N2e (talk) 22:40, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
