Is Garod really the standard?
[edit]@Yivan000 I mostly see garod in casual conversations. Whenever I open Bannawag.ph or buy a Bannawag magazine, I always see "ngarud" written than garod. Also, I would like to add another variant of garod which is arod. I mostly hear it in Abra (nya arod kayat mo saw-en? ). Amianero (talk) 04:45, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
- This... I am not sure which should be the main lemma. I also mostly see and hear "ngarud" in Baguio, Benguet, and Mountain Province (even I myself use that), however people I know from Ilocos Norte and Cagayan use "ngarod" and "garod" instead.

- I fear this will be the "center vs. centre" but for Ilocano, lol. All four of them, "ngarud", "garud", "ngarod", "garod", are common and dialectal (usage depends on the region). — 🍕 Yivan000 viewtalk 05:37, 16 June 2024 (UTC)
