Missing sense?

In the X Files episode "Little Green Men", Mulder says that he was a "four-bagger". That can't mean "home run". I gather it might be a deeply unpopular/unwanted person (perhaps from slang for a woman who is so ugly that you would wear four bags over your head before having sex with her), which would fit the context because at this point he has upset his FBI employers and more or less been fired.
