This is the alternative variant

[edit]

< Middle English forjuggen (“to judge outside”), is an unetymologically spelled variant of an archaism. --Backinstadiums (talk) 09:49, 20 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

It really means 1. "To deprive (someone of life, limb, a privilege, etc.) by legal decision; to banish (from a place), to bar or exclude (from holding an office)" 2.To convict (someone) of a crime, to sentence, to condemn; also, to find fault with; ~ without answer, to condemn (the accused) without allowing him any defense.
