Notes for Italiot-Greek

[edit]

Parameters: β = v, no breathing marks, τ = (sometimes) δ, u = υ or ου, c = κ, ng = γγ

Double zeta... is complicated? Especially since I imagine this is pronounced like it is in Italian, w/ the accent where it is - 'fo-NAT-zo'.

Guesses:

φοναζω φοναζζο φοναζου

@Elliott Dunstan: The word written in Greek script is φωνάζω Aearthrise (talk) 22:44, 17 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Aearthrise: Thank you! I really wasn't sure about that double zeta. Should I make an entry for it/put it in the entry or is it best to find an attested version first? Elliott Dunstan (talk) 19:23, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
