This word appears to have such wide usage, especially in rural areas of Upstate New York, that despite its not appearing in mainstream dictionaries such as Webster's, it is time for it to be accepted as a true English word. It's meaning is immediately known to all who hear it, and it is preferable to similar words in expressing a certain emotion.

It's simply not proper English, I don't care how many people want to use it.
