- "floride and chemistry" gets over 200 Google books hits - either a fairly common misspelling or a genuine alternate spelling. Also, note that Floride is French for Florida. bd2412 T 22:35, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

- Misspelling. Unless they'd like to try redefining it. Google news produced 0 floride toothpaste hits to 91 fluoride toothpaste hits. Also 0 news hits for floride alone. I'm starting to wonder how reliable Google Books beta is.--Halliburton Shill 19:38, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
