This page was previously deleted in 2008 as a protologism. Actually, it's a real word, can be found in the OED2 with additional citations. Fletcher and the Kellogg brothers created the modern wave of food faddism, and their words and neologisms became well-known at the time. Henry James was one of a short list of famous Fletcherites, and he almost died of it, as is discussed in pretty much every last James biography out there.
