To render flaccid, especially by removing the backbone or skeleton. Equinox ◑ 00:54, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- I found one cite (for the third person singular present form) on Usenet. My research also reveals that it's the name of a Magic: The Gathering card. Are Magic cards durably archived? Khemehekis (talk) 01:27, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- Two cites now. Khemehekis (talk) 01:36, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- Cited, even without the MtG card. Khemehekis (talk) 02:02, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- Is ba.broadcast Usenet, or just Google Groups? Chuck Entz (talk) 02:13, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

- It is Usenet. Also: I've removed the backbone/skeleton part of the def, since no cite involved that. Equinox ◑ 02:21, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- The most recent cite, "Well, now there's still Duh Bone at least until Cumulus flaccifies it", uses a metaphorical play on the name of The Bone. For those not in the know, that Usenet post refers to The Bone, a hard-rock station in San Francisco, so it's talking about "flaccifying" it as if it were a literal bone. As for how I found those cites: I searched Google Books and Usenet for "flaccify", then "flaccifies", then "flaccifying", then "flaccified". I then searched for some hyphenated forms on Google Books by looking up "flacci fy", etc. I found one more book with "flacci- fying", and one more with "flacci- fied". Good thing it occurred to me to try this! Khemehekis (talk) 03:25, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
