Rfv-sense of "The idea that a government's economic policy should be limited to taxation." Possible, but it doesn't seem easy to attest. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 14:50, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
- The definition is overstated. I have edited the definition and cited the revised version. Kiwima (talk) 22:29, 19 March 2018 (UTC)
- I like the cites you've provided for definition 1, which I didn't know, despite my BS in economics. I note that “fiscalism”, in OneLook Dictionary Search. links only to the two-line WP article. Did your searches find support for definition 3? DCDuring (talk) 00:12, 20 March 2018 (UTC)

- Lua error in Module:quote at line 2979: Parameter 1 is required. DCDuring (talk) 12:12, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not convinced definition 3 has strong political connotations (though it nearly always refers to post-war Keynesians). It looks like a fairly placid academic word, without any in-built implication that fiscalists are more likely than monetarists to rack up debt.
