@Bogdan: There's a mistake here. — Fytcha T | L | C 01:58, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Romanian.

  1. Alternative form of fidēiussiō

In case you didn't notice, that's Latin fidēiussiō! The declension table also has problems, since it's said to be a singular-only term and nothing was done to supress the non-existant forms- they show as what I like to call "template guts".

I originally tagged this for cleanup, but I see from the edit history and the talk page that at least two knowledgeable people were aware of this a year ago, and nothing has happened- probably because it's not clear whether this is an alternative form of some Romanian term or what the correct definition is otherwise. Having an entry that's a stub of an entry in a completely different language is confusing at best and useless at worst- but completely wrong either way. If this can be cleaned up, it should be kept- but in its current state there's no choice but to delete it. Pinging @Bogdan, who certainly knows better, but tends get their wires crossed now and then. I say it’s salvaged now. I didn’t bother to quote it because it’s amply attested (as a Google search shows) and because it’s in dictionaries either way. —Biolongvistul (talk) 06:53, 5 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
