Yes, though much more directly than you might think; the entire FU etymology has been by now rejected, and the Hungarian word is simply considered a loanword from German. I don't have the reference immediately at hand, but IIRC this was shown by Rédei in one of his post-UEW etymological articles. --Tropylium (talk) 19:00, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
