@Appolodorus1, isn't this just masculine by default? Or are there uses that strongly suggest a possible feminine gender? ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 13:11, 29 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I went by https://woordenlijst.org/#/?q=worst. Might actually be uncountable, what do you think? Great you added a root word, curious where you found it :) Appolodorus1 (talk) 10:07, 30 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Appolodorus1: I enlisted the help of an experienced Chinese editor, who found a trilingual advertisement. I have no idea about countability in general, but I see that it is uncountable in the quotation. The gender of worst doesn't have a lot of bearing on fachong's gender, I'm afraid, it happens that a word's gender is influenced by a synonym but that is honestly quite rare in Dutch. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 16:38, 30 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Lingo Bingo Dingo That's delightful. Maybe this editor could have a look at tjauwmin and matjok as well as I'm unsure whether they were borrowed from Hakka or another Southern Chinese language. I'll think I'll just switch this to uncountable as I can't recall anyone ever saying "twee fachongs" or something similar. Appolodorus1 (talk) 14:57, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
