Acronym or abbreviation

[edit]

Shouldn't this be labelled as an acronym or abbreviation or something? It's a notational shorthand you see in chant publications like the Liber Usualis, not really something you would use as a word in a sentence. I did a masters degree in choral conducting, and I'm not sure I've ever heard anybody say "euouae" out loud, except jokingly. 2601:200:C000:9500:EC28:44CB:92BD:FB65 04:18, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@2601:200:C000:9500:EC28:44CB:92BD:FB65: we don't use "Abbreviation" or "Acronym" as headings (see WT:POS), so "Noun" is the most appropriate part of speech heading. The definitions have been updated based on the quotations found. — SGconlaw (talk) 15:01, 17 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
