I am wondering how the example of use fit the "Noun" part:

 Noun
   erf (plural erfs)
 (Northern England, Scotland, rare) Inheritance; patrimony.
 →    Son, you will have this farm to erf.

I am not a native English speaker, but it seems to me that in the given sentence "to erf" is a verb (infinitive), similar to "you will have this farm to use" or "you will have this farm to own".
